BOURKE BRIDGE INN – Colonial comfort in north-west New South Wales

Bourke Bridge Inn is an elegant, riverside property on a 1-acre block, located 5 km north of Bourke. The Inn overlooks the mighty Darling River, and the old North Bourke Bridge that is more than 100 years old. The bridge has a section that could be raised to allow the paddle steamers to ply their trade up and down the river.

The Inn was built and opened in 2004 and features early 1900’s architecture with ripple roofs, 10′ ceilings and traditional Aussie verandahs giving memories of times gone by.

Traditional and Cottage Style accommodation is enhanced by custom-made early 1900’s reproduction furniture in keeping with the architecture. Individual suite air-conditioning and hot water systems, spa baths and computer internet connections ensure 21st century comfort and facilities.
